Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last Updated: April 17, 2026

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains when refunds are available on the Fansit platform, how to request one, and how subscription cancellations work. "Fansit" means Persona Payments LLC, dba Fansit, 1309 Coffeen Ave STE 1200, Sheridan, WY 82801.

Fansit is the merchant of record for all transactions on the Platform. All refunds are processed by Fansit and its payment processors.

1. Overview

1.1. Fansit operates on a credit-based economy using FanBucks. Fans purchase FanBucks with a payment card and spend them on subscriptions, pay-per-view content, tips, and other Creator offerings.

1.2. Refunds, when approved, are issued as FanBucks credits back to the Fan's wallet. Cash refunds to the original payment method are issued only in cases of fraud, unauthorized account access, or where required by applicable law.

1.3. This policy applies to all Fans globally. Fans in certain jurisdictions (including the United Kingdom and European Union) may have additional statutory rights described in Section 9.

2. What Is Eligible for a Refund

2.1. Fansit will generally approve a refund request if any of the following apply:

  • Content did not load, was broken, or was materially different from what was advertised.
  • A subscription was billed after a Creator stopped posting for an extended period without notice.
  • A duplicate transaction occurred due to a network error or processor retry.
  • Unauthorized account access — your Fansit account was used by a third party without your permission.
  • A Creator's account was removed by Fansit during your active subscription period (pro-rated refund issued automatically).
  • A Private Stream you purchased never took place and was not rescheduled within a reasonable time.

2.2. Refund requests meeting the criteria above are typically approved within 3 business days.

3. What Is Not Eligible for a Refund

3.1. The following are not eligible for refunds:

  • Tips. Tips are voluntary gratuities, not payment for goods or services, and are non-refundable once sent. A Creator's failure to provide additional content, performance, or service after a tip does not entitle the Fan to a refund.
  • Pay-per-view content that was successfully viewed. If the content loaded and was accessed, it is not eligible for a refund — even if the Fan did not enjoy it.
  • Subscription periods that have been used. Refunds for partially-used subscription periods are pro-rated at Fansit's discretion.
  • Buyer's remorse. Changing your mind about a purchase is not grounds for a refund.
  • FanBucks purchases not yet spent on a specific Creator are non-refundable once purchased, except as required by applicable law.
  • Auto-recharge top-ups that have already been credited to the wallet.

4. Subscription Cancellation

4.1. Fans may cancel any recurring subscription at any time from the Subscriptions section of their account settings.

4.2. Cancellation stops future automatic renewals. The Fan retains access to subscribed content for the remainder of the current paid billing period.

4.3. No refund is issued for the current paid period on cancellation. If the Fan qualifies for a pro-rated refund under Section 2.1, they must submit a dispute separately via the Wallet.

4.4. Cancellation takes effect immediately upon request. Fansit sends a confirmation email when the cancellation is processed.

5. How to Request a Refund

5.1. Fans request a refund by opening the Wallet, locating the transaction, and tapping Dispute. A brief explanation of the issue is required.

5.2. Fansit responds to refund requests within three (3) business days.

5.3. Fans may also request a refund via support@fansit.com with subject line "Refund Request: [Transaction ID]".

6. Refund Time Window

6.1. Fans may dispute any transaction in their wallet within thirty (30) calendar days from the original transaction date.

6.2. Disputes filed after 30 days are reviewed on a case-by-case basis but are more likely to be declined.

7. Processing Time

7.1. FanBucks credit refunds are issued immediately upon approval and appear in the Fan's wallet within minutes.

7.2. Cash refunds to the original payment method (where issued) typically appear on the cardholder's statement within five (5) to ten (10) business days, depending on the issuing bank.

8. Chargebacks

8.1. Fansit strongly prefers that Fans use the in-platform dispute flow rather than filing a chargeback with their bank or card issuer.

8.2. Filing a chargeback instead of using the in-platform dispute process:

  • Costs the Creator the disputed amount plus a $20 or 5% chargeback fee (whichever is greater).
  • Triggers an account review and may result in suspension or termination.
  • Repeated bad-faith chargebacks can result in permanent account termination and reporting to fraud-prevention services.

8.3. Fansit reserves the right to recover the disputed amount and any associated fees from the Fan's account balance in the event of a chargeback determined to be filed in bad faith.

9. Statutory Rights

9.1. United Kingdom: Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, consumers purchasing digital content that is delivered immediately expressly waive the 14-day cooling-off period by completing the purchase. Purchases of FanBucks, subscriptions, pay-per-view content, and tips on Fansit are digital content delivered immediately, and the statutory cooling-off period does not apply.

9.2. European Union: Consumers in the EU are subject to the equivalent provisions under the Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU and applicable national implementations. By purchasing digital content on Fansit, the consumer expressly consents to immediate performance and acknowledges that the right of withdrawal is lost upon delivery.

9.3. United States: No statutory cooling-off period applies to the purchase of digital content. State-level consumer protection laws may provide additional rights in specific circumstances.

9.4. Nothing in this Policy is intended to limit or exclude any non-waivable statutory right a Fan may have under the laws of their jurisdiction.

10. Fraud and Unauthorized Transactions

10.1. If a Fan believes a transaction on their account was unauthorized or fraudulent, they should:

  • Immediately contact support@fansit.com with subject line "Unauthorized Transaction".
  • Change their account password and enable two-factor authentication.
  • Contact their bank or card issuer to report the unauthorized charge.

10.2. Fansit will investigate all reports of unauthorized transactions and, where verified, issue a full cash refund to the original payment method and cooperate with the Fan's bank or card issuer.

11. Creator Earnings & Chargebacks

11.1. Refunds and chargebacks affect Creator payouts. When a refund or chargeback is issued against a transaction, the corresponding Creator earnings are reversed in accordance with the Creator Terms and Payout Policy.

12. Changes to This Policy

12.1. Fansit may update this Policy from time to time. The current version is always available at legal.fansit.com/refund-policy.

12.2. Material changes will be communicated to Fans via email or in-platform notification at least seven (7) days before taking effect.
