Effective Date: May 6, 2026
Last Updated: May 6, 2026
Policy Overview
Fansit respects user privacy while complying with applicable law. We disclose non-public user information only in response to valid legal process, where otherwise required by law, or in limited emergency circumstances involving an imminent risk of death or serious physical harm.
Fansit may also proactively report suspected illegal activity to law enforcement or other competent authorities where required or where we determine such reporting is appropriate under applicable law.
Eligible Requestors
This policy applies exclusively to law enforcement agencies and governmental authorities. Private individuals, civil litigants, and other non-governmental requestors must pursue proper legal channels.
Legal Process Required
Fansit generally requires valid and binding legal process before disclosing non-public user information, except in emergencies or where disclosure is otherwise required by law. Depending on the nature of the information sought, legal process may include, by way of example:
- Subpoena: may support disclosure of certain basic subscriber or account information where permitted by law;
- Court Order: may support disclosure of certain records, transactional information, or account-related data where permitted by law;
- Search Warrant or equivalent compulsory process: generally required for stored content or private communications, where applicable.
We may reject, narrow, or seek clarification of requests that are overly broad, lack sufficient legal authority, conflict with applicable law, or fail to identify the relevant account, content, or time period with adequate specificity.
Emergency Requests
If a law enforcement agency believes there is an emergency involving an imminent risk of death or serious physical harm that requires disclosure without prior legal process, it may submit an emergency request. The request should:
- be submitted by a sworn law enforcement officer or other authorized governmental official;
- describe the nature of the emergency;
- explain why the requested information is necessary to address the emergency; and
- identify the specific account, content, user, transaction, or data sought.
Fansit evaluates emergency requests on a case-by-case basis and may require additional information before responding.
International Requests
Fansit is operated by Persona Payments LLC, organized under the laws of Wyoming, a United States jurisdiction. For requests from authorities outside the United States, we generally require service through appropriate international legal process, such as Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty channels or other applicable legal channels, unless applicable law permits direct disclosure.
Restricted or Paywalled Content
Because Fansit allows creators to offer subscriptions, pay-per-view content, direct messages, livestreams, paid or restricted posts, tips, wallet-supported transactions, payouts, and other gated features, law enforcement requests may seek records or content associated with those features. Requests should identify the relevant account, creator, user, content, communication, transaction, wallet or payout identifier, and date range with as much specificity as possible.
Preservation Requests
Law enforcement may submit a preservation request under 18 U.S.C. § 2703(f) or other applicable law to preserve specified account records pending receipt of legal process. Where applicable, Fansit may preserve account records, subscriber information, content identifiers, transactional records, and other relevant data for up to 90 days, subject to renewal where permitted by law.
Categories of Information That May Be Available
Depending on the legal process served, the accounts identified, and the information maintained by Fansit or its service providers, responsive records may include basic subscriber information, account profile information, IP logs, device or session data, content identifiers, transaction or payout records, wallet-related records, direct-message or other stored-content records, moderation or verification records, and other account-related information permitted to be disclosed under applicable law.
Certified Records
Where appropriate and legally permitted, Fansit may provide certifications or declarations relating to business records in response to valid legal process.
Notice to Users
Unless prohibited by law, legal process, court order, or case-specific circumstances, Fansit may notify affected users before disclosing their information.
Submitting Requests
All requests should be sent to:
Persona Payments LLC, dba Fansit Attn: Legal Department 1309 Coffeen Ave STE 1200 Sheridan, WY 82801 United States legal@fansit.com
Requests should include, where applicable:
- agency name and contact information;
- the name, title, and badge or identification number of the requesting officer or official;
- the legal authority supporting the request;
- the specific information sought; and
- sufficient identifying information, such as username, email address, profile URL, content URL, and relevant date range, to allow us to identify the responsive records.
Cost Reimbursement
Where permitted by law, Fansit may seek reimbursement for costs associated with responding to law enforcement requests.
Policy Updates
This policy may be updated at any time. The most current version will be posted on the Fansit website.
