Age Verification Policy

This Age Verification Policy explains how Fansit implements age verification requirements to comply with global regulations and protect minors from accessing adult content.

1. Definitions

  • "Age Estimation" means the simplified verification process for viewers that confirms a User is over 18 without collecting detailed identity documents.
  • "Age Verification" means the process of confirming a User meets the minimum age requirement of 18 years through approved verification methods.
  • "Full KYC" means comprehensive identity verification required for Creative Users, including document verification and identity checks.
  • "Verification Provider" means third-party services approved by Fansit to perform age and identity verification.
  • "Regulated Jurisdiction" means any country, state, or territory with laws requiring age verification for adult content platforms.

2. Minimum Age Requirement

2.1. All Users of the Platform must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.

2.2. Users in Regulated Jurisdictions must complete age verification before accessing adult content.

2.3. Fansit reserves the right to require age verification from any User regardless of location.

3. Geographic Requirements

3.1. Countries with Mandatory Verification

3.2. US States with Age Verification Laws

The following US states currently have age verification laws in effect: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and Wyoming.

4. Verification Process

4.1. For Viewers (Age Estimation)

  • Simplified age confirmation process
  • No document storage for basic age verification
  • Instant verification through approved age estimation service

4.2. For Creative Users (Full KYC)

  • Government-issued ID verification
  • Facial recognition matching (liveness check)
  • Comprehensive identity verification
  • Document data stored per USC 2257 requirements

4.3. Verification Flow

  1. User encounters age-gated content
  2. System checks User location and Account status
  3. If verification required, User is redirected to secure verification provider
  4. User completes appropriate verification process
  5. Result is returned to Fansit and access is granted or denied

5. Data Handling

5.1. Age Estimation collects: basic age confirmation, verification timestamp, pass/fail status.

5.2. Full KYC additionally collects: government ID details, biometric data for matching, document images (stored securely).

5.3. All verification data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Verification is performed by approved third-party providers under strict data processing agreements.

5.4. Fansit stores only the minimum data necessary for compliance. Verification status is indicated by secure tokens, not raw personal data.

6. Access Restrictions

6.1. Users who have not completed required verification can:

  • Browse non-adult content
  • View Creator profiles without explicit content
  • Manage Account settings

But cannot:

  • View or purchase adult content

6.2. Users who fail age verification will be restricted from adult content access. Multiple failed attempts may result in temporary Account restrictions.

7. Circumvention Prevention

7.1. Attempting to bypass age verification is strictly prohibited.

7.2. Use of VPNs or location spoofing to avoid verification may result in Account termination.

7.3. Sharing Accounts to bypass verification violates the Acceptable Use Policy.

8. Creator Responsibilities

8.1. Creative Users must accurately label adult content. Mislabeling content to avoid age restrictions is prohibited.

8.2. Creators must verify the age of all individuals appearing in their content per the Co-Authored Content Policy.
